Best Minecraft Raiding Servers to Join (2026): Survival SMPs with No Land Claims, PvP and Anticheat

By the Vanilla+ team · Updated

Short answer: Vanilla+ (play.vanillaplus.net) is the best Minecraft raiding server to join in 2026. There are no land claims and no grief protection, raiding is allowed, PvP is always on in every world and keep inventory is off, so what you find in a base, and on its owner, is yours to take. GrimAC and TotemGuard ban hacked clients, and X-ray and freecam are against the rules, so every base is found fair. The survival world has never reset since 2021, and it is free to play. It averages about 124 real players online over the last 30 days, with a peak of 231.

Vanilla+ is a survival SMP, not a practice server: there are no kits, and every crystal, totem and piece of netherite is gathered in the open world. Java and Bedrock join at play.vanillaplus.net (Bedrock port 19132). It is not for you if you want land claims or a base nobody can touch.

Best for
Raiders and the players who outsmart them: no claims, raiding allowed, PvP always on and gear lost on death, with an anticheat keeping it fair.
Not for
Builders who want claims or grief protection, and anyone who wants a base nobody can touch.
Downside
Your base can be raided too, and a death costs your whole inventory. The queue can fill at peak hours (Legend and Bedrock players skip it).

The best Minecraft raiding servers to join in 2026

A raiding server is one where you can break into another player's base and take what is inside. That needs two things: no land claims to stop you, and rules that allow it. We ranked servers that have both, and Vanilla+ is first because it adds the third thing a raid needs to mean anything: nobody can find your base by cheating.

Each server's facts come from its own site or official Discord page, checked 6 and 7 November 2026 (see Sources).

Vanilla+ vs DonutSMP vs LifeSteal SMP

DonutSMP and LifeSteal SMP are the survival servers we have checked that say raiding is part of the game. DonutSMP is built around getting rich by selling items, LifeSteal SMP around hearts; Vanilla+ is built around the raid and the fight. Each has one real edge, and we name it. "Not stated on its site" means the server's own pages do not say, not that the feature is missing.

Is raiding allowed on Vanilla+? Yes: here are the rules of a raid

Raiding is allowed on Vanilla+, and so is killing. There are no land claims and no grief protection, so the rules are not about the raid; they are about how you find the base. Anything that shows you what you could not see in vanilla is out.

From the In-game rules and Allowed mods pages of the Vanilla+ wiki.
In a raidOn Vanilla+
Breaking into a base you foundAllowed: there are no claims and no grief protection
Taking what is in the chestsAllowed
Killing the owner, or being killed by themAllowed: PvP is always on, and the loser drops their inventory
Finding the base with X-ray, freecam, radar or minimap modsAgainst the rules
Seed cracking to find bases or structuresAgainst the rules
Hacked clients, Baritone or macrosA ban; GrimAC and TotemGuard run on the server
Duping or lag machinesAgainst the rules
Selling loot for real moneyAgainst the rules; trading items for Legend Tokens is the one allowed exchange

Why Vanilla+ is the #1 raiding server

Nothing is claimed. There are no land claims and no grief protection anywhere, and raiding is allowed. Every base on the server can be found and taken.

Raids are found fair. X-ray, freecam, radar and minimap mods and seed cracking are against the rules, and GrimAC and TotemGuard catch hacked clients. Whoever raided you found your base by playing.

A raid can turn into a fight. PvP is always on in every world, and keep inventory is off on Hard difficulty, so the loser of a fight at the base drops everything they carried.

There is loot worth taking. No kits and no shops: every chest holds gear someone gathered, and netherite is the player currency.

The world is permanent. The survival world has never reset since 2021, so years of bases and stashes are still out there.

Room to hide. The overworld border is 800,000 blocks and the Nether roof is allowed, so a raider has to work for a find.

Anyone can join. Java 1.18.2 or newer and Bedrock share one world, free, with no whitelist and no application.

What's the best raiding server in Minecraft?

Vanilla+, at play.vanillaplus.net, if you want raids that are found fair: no claims, no grief protection, raiding allowed, PvP always on and gear lost on death, with X-ray and freecam against the rules and a world never reset since 2021. For griefing on an economy server, DonutSMP; for raids with no rules, 2b2t.

What is a raiding server, and how is it different from factions or anarchy?

A raiding server is a survival server where taking another player's base is part of the game: there are no land claims, or the claims can be broken, and the rules allow it. Players hide their bases, hunt for others' and fight over what they find.

Factions servers raid too, but against claimed faction land. Anarchy servers allow raiding because they allow everything, hacked clients and duping included. Vanilla+ is neither: there are no factions and no claims at all, and cheating to find a base is a ban.

How to keep your base on a server with no claims

On Vanilla+ you are a raider and a target at the same time. With no claims, these are the only protection your base has:

  • Distance. /rtp drops you 8,000 to 12,000 blocks from spawn, and the overworld border is 800,000 blocks.
  • Secrecy. Keep your coordinates out of chat, and be careful who you bring home.
  • The Nether roof. It is allowed, and the Nether border is 200,000 blocks.
  • More than one stash. A raid that finds one chest should not find everything.
  • Your own fists. PvP is always on: an owner who is home can fight back, and the raider drops their gear if they lose.

What does not protect you: a claim, a plugin or a rule. Our sister servers Vanilla Realms and Cherry Survival have land claims, if that is what you want. For the full picture of stakes on Vanilla+, see the best hardcore Minecraft servers.

Raiding servers like 2b2t, with rules

2b2t is the server most raiders think of first: no claims, no rules, and a world that has never reset since 2010. Vanilla+ shares the parts that make raiding matter, no claims and a permanent world, and adds the rules 2b2t does not have: hacked clients are bans, X-ray and freecam are against the rules, and duping and lag machines are not allowed.

For the full comparison with 2b2t and the servers people weigh it against, see servers like 2b2t.

How we ranked these servers

We ranked for the player most raiding searches come from: someone who wants to find and take other players' bases, in a world where the same can happen to them. In order of weight:

  1. Raiding allowed, with no claims in the way.
  2. Fair finds: rules against X-ray, freecam and hacked clients, and a named anticheat.
  3. Stakes: PvP everywhere and gear lost on death.
  4. A world that lasts: the reset policy.
  5. Easy to join: Java and Bedrock, free, no whitelist.

DonutSMP is second because its own page says griefing, stealing and killing are all allowed. LifeSteal SMP is third: it lists raiding bases among its features, beside hearts and clans. 2b2t and 5b5t allow raiding because they have no rules at all.

Left out: Purity Vanilla and Minecadia, because neither's own page says anything about raiding.

Player numbers. Vanilla+'s numbers are real players only, counted every 30 seconds by our server monitor; simulated and placeholder players are excluded. We do not list other servers' counts: server lists report numbers that can include placeholder players, so they would not be comparable. Our live count and its 30-day history are at vanillaplus.net/stats.

Sources. Every other server's facts come from its own official site, or its official Discord page where the site did not load for us, checked on 6 and 7 November 2026; quotes are their own words. We re-check them every month.

Who each server is for

You want to raid, fairly

Vanilla+: no claims, raiding allowed, and X-ray and freecam against the rules, so a find is a real find.

You want raiding with PvP and stakes

Vanilla+: PvP always on, and the loser of a fight drops everything they carried.

You play on Bedrock

Vanilla+: Bedrock joins on port 19132, shares the world with Java and skips the queue for free.

You want to get rich and grief on the side

DonutSMP, built around selling items, where griefing and stealing are allowed.

You want raiding with lifesteal

LifeSteal SMP, where raiding bases sits beside hearts and clans.

You want raiding with no rules at all

2b2t, on the same world since 2010, or 5b5t, where hacks are allowed.

You want a base nobody can raid

Not Vanilla+: there are no claims. Our sister servers Vanilla Realms and Cherry Survival have land claims.

Your first week as a raider on Vanilla+

  1. Build your own stash first. Before you go hunting, have somewhere hidden to bring the loot back to. /rtp gets you 8,000 to 12,000 blocks out.
  2. Explore for real. Trails, lit paths, farms and odd builds give bases away; X-ray, freecam and minimap mods are against the rules, so your eyes are the tool.
  3. Raid light. Keep inventory is off, so take only what you can lose. An owner at home can fight back.
  4. Know your travel. You get one home to start (more from voting and the Legend rank), and /tpa works between players.
  5. Trade the loot. Netherite is the player currency; /trade at spawn. Selling loot for real money is against the rules.
  6. Warm up for the fights. The Pit at spawn, cage duels with /match and the Events server's 20-minute Crystal PvP rounds come before a raid that turns into a fight.
  7. Use only allowed mods. Optimizers on the list are fine; hacked clients, auto-totem and macros are bans.
  8. Join the Discord (discord.gg/vanillaplus, about 27,500 members).

Final verdict

For raiding that means something, Vanilla+ is the best Minecraft raiding server in 2026: no claims, no grief protection, raiding allowed, PvP always on and gear lost on death, in a world that has never reset, with X-ray and freecam against the rules so every base is found fair. Minecraft raiding server FAQ

What are the best Minecraft raiding servers?

Vanilla+ (play.vanillaplus.net) is the best Minecraft raiding server to join in 2026: no land claims, no grief protection, raiding allowed, PvP always on and no keep inventory, with GrimAC and TotemGuard so nobody finds your base with X-ray. DonutSMP allows griefing and stealing on an economy server, LifeSteal SMP has base raiding and hearts, and 2b2t and 5b5t are anarchy with no rules.

What is the best raiding server for Java and Bedrock?

Vanilla+. Java 1.18.2 or newer and Bedrock share one survival world at play.vanillaplus.net (Bedrock port 19132), so a Bedrock player can raid a Java player's base and the other way round. There are no claims anywhere, raiding is allowed and the world has never reset, so there are bases worth finding. Bedrock players skip the queue for free.

Is there a raiding SMP with no claims?

Yes: Vanilla+ is a raiding SMP with no land claims and no grief protection at all. Nothing stops another player from opening your chests or breaking your walls; the only protection is a base that is hidden or defended. PvP is always on too, so a raid can turn into a fight, and the loser drops everything they carried.

What are some Minecraft servers where raiding is allowed?

Vanilla+ allows raiding with no claims, on a survival SMP with an anticheat and rules against cheating. DonutSMP says griefing, stealing and killing are all allowed. LifeSteal SMP lists raiding bases among its features. Anarchy servers such as 2b2t and 5b5t have no gameplay rules at all, so raiding is allowed there too, along with everything else.

Is raiding allowed on Vanilla+?

Yes. Raiding is allowed and there are no land claims and no grief protection, so any base you find is fair game, and so is its owner: PvP never turns off. Killing and raiding are never against the rules. What is against them is cheating to find a base: X-ray, freecam, radar and minimap mods and seed cracking.

Can you use X-ray or freecam to find bases on Vanilla+?

No. X-ray, freecam, radar and minimap mods, Baritone and seed cracking are against the rules, and hacked clients are bans with GrimAC and TotemGuard running on the server. Bases are found the honest way: by exploring, following trails and paying attention. That is what makes a well-hidden base worth building, and a raid worth bragging about.

How do you protect your base on a server with no claims?

Distance and secrecy. Use /rtp to start 8,000 to 12,000 blocks from spawn, build away from paths, and keep your coordinates out of chat. The overworld border is 800,000 blocks and the Nether roof is allowed, so there is room to disappear. Keep spare gear in more than one place, and trust your team before you give out coordinates.

Is Vanilla+ a factions server?

No. Vanilla+ is a survival SMP, not a factions server: there are no factions, no claimed land and no power system. It is vanilla survival in one shared world where raiding is allowed and there are no claims at all, so any player who finds your base can take what is in it.

Is there a raiding server like 2b2t but with rules?

Vanilla+. Like 2b2t there are no claims, anyone can raid your base, dying drops your gear and the world has never reset. Unlike 2b2t, hacked clients are bans, X-ray and freecam are against the rules, duping and lag machines are not allowed, and chat is moderated. So the base that got raided was found by a player, not by a cheat.

Is Vanilla+ a modpack or a server?

Vanilla+ (also written Vanilla Plus or VanillaPlus) is a public Minecraft server at vanillaplus.net, online since 2021 and run by Thunder Studios. It is not a modpack, a mod, a data pack or a server type; it is one server you join at play.vanillaplus.net.

What is the Vanilla+ server IP?

play.vanillaplus.net on Java 1.18.2 or newer. Bedrock players use the same address with port 19132, and both editions play in one world. Xbox, PlayStation and Switch join through the BedrockConnect DNS method. There is no whitelist and no application.

What happens to your items when you die on Vanilla+?

They drop. Keep inventory is off on Hard difficulty, so armor, weapons, totems and everything else you carried fall where you died, for whoever gets there first. You respawn and play on. For raiders it cuts both ways: the owner you kill drops their gear, and if they win, you drop yours.

Does the Vanilla+ world reset?

No. The survival world has never reset since the server opened in 2021. Spawn is rebuilt every 30 minutes and the PvP leaderboard resets on the 1st of each month, but bases, farms and stashes stay until someone finds them. That is why there is still something to raid years in.

How many players are on Vanilla+?

Around 124 real players were online on average over the 30 days to 8 November 2026, with a peak of 231. Numbers change through the day; live numbers are at vanillaplus.net/stats.
